I have spent the past month. Working my Scentsy biz. Focused on ways to sell and get my name out there. Not ever really thinking about building a team. The thought crossed my mind when my friend asked if she could borrow my kit. To see if maybe she wanted to sell. Giving her the basket with the thought of starting my own team made me smile. First Scentsy party.

Well I have now had my Scentsy kit for a little over a month. I must say that this has got to be one of the easiest things to sell ever!!! I mean really who doesn't like their house to smell awesome!! And with over 80 scents to choose from there is something for everyone.

My very first party was one of the easiest that you can do with Scentsy. It was a basket party. What is a basket party? It's a party in a basket. You give out order forms a few catalogs and your scent testers to a client. They get their friends together let them smell away and they pick what they want. Easy for you and even easier for the host. They earn freebies along with half price items depending on the amount of product they sell. They also get a chance to introduce their friends to a great product. And you well you get to introduce your business to a wider base of people. And introduce yourself to them as a Scentsy consultant.

There are however two more kind of parties you can choose from. There is an catalog party. You send out catalogs and have a party open your website for people to order. Same host rewards for the host a little less work for all. And lastly. There's the the home party. Which for some is the preferred way to do things. Bringing a group of people together in your home. Nice conversation with sweet smells in the room. Relaxing, entertaining and you learn about a safe way to Scent your home. Perfect. Which one would you like to try?

Scentsy warmer of the month August 2012

    Hoot, hoot. Is what the new scentsy warmer says. So very cute. Paired with the new scent of the month Neverland. Is a great way to transition into the fall.  I have recently warmed the new scent.  It smells wonderful. It has a lovely outdoor scent. Woodsy, pine, and sage are some of the scents that you can make out while it's in the air. Loving it so far.
